An attempt to steal her throne found Princess Aurora kidnapped and brutalised. She knew more horrors awaited if she left her rescue to others. So she enlisted the help of a fellow captive, a mysterious peasant boy, to attempt a daring escape. The friendship forged in hardship soon blossomed into true feelings between princess and peasant, but both knew they could never be. Yet, try as they did to deny their feelings, they couldn't let go of one another. While the princess wrestled between duty and following her heart, her father the king was betrayed and assassinated. The Princess was cast from her castle into the abyss, barely alive. Aurora was now a commoner. Either she could accept her fate, or attempt to take back what was rightfully hers. But it wasn't so easy to regain entry to her former home. She disguised herself as a servant to sneak back home, only to find her peasant boy on her throne! Aurora had no choice but to fight for what was rightfully hers. But can she do it without setting off another rebellion? New enemies lurked around each corner, waiting to destroy her. She had to trust that the love, she once thought betrayed her would now come to her rescue.
