We all know the illusions of a pre-teen girl's dreams of adulthood, of motherhood, of becoming something more than the offerings submitted during the school years don't magically become reality. At some point a single mother faces the same dilemma; continue on an undesirable path or stop, reset and start again. But a reset requires more than an idea or wishful thinking. New ideas may not fit into the agendas of family and friends, boyfriends, and ex-husbands who weigh-in with criticism more often than encouragement. Fifteen years, four relationships, two marriages.
